Majo Fishing Lodge runs every charter on two private boats, both based at Vista Mar Marina in San Carlos, Panama, and both rigged for offshore sport fishing. Your trip is always private: only your group is on board, with Captain Jorge Petti (IGFA-certified) or our professional crew.
Hatteras 40 “Makaira”
Our flagship is a classic 40-foot Hatteras sport fisherman, fully remodeled, restored and updated in 2026: a proven offshore hull for marlin, sailfish and tuna, with the comfort of a cruising boat.

Stamas 39 “Majo V”
The Stamas 39 “Majo V” is a 2002 Stamas 370 Express (39 ft) with a 2021 refit: fast, stable and comfortable, and the boat we use for family fishing, sunset cruises and party cruises.

Which boat should I choose?
Both boats are private and equipped for offshore fishing, and both are available for Pro Fishing, Fun Fishing 6 hours, Hacienda del Mar, the Pro Fishing Expedition and island trips. The Hatteras 40 is our flagship. The Stamas 39 is the boat for the 4-hour family trip, the sunset cruise and the booze cruise. Prices are per boat and do not include taxes (ITBMS).
