Sunset Trip: A Birthday Toast as the Sun Goes Down
The Sunset Trip cruises the San Carlos coastline toward Isla Farallón from 4:00 to 6:00 PM aboard the Stamas 39 “Majo V”, with music, ice and water. It is the easiest way to celebrate: two hours, no planning, and the sky turning pink and orange over the Pacific for your birthday photos.
Booze Cruise Party: The Birthday Party on the Water
For a real party, the Booze Cruise Party runs from 3:30 to 6:30 PM with great music along the Pacific Riviera. Ice and water are included; bring your own cooler with drinks and our crew will serve them, or add our national beers and sodas combo for US$10 per person. Up to 12 guests on the Stamas 39.
Isla Farallón: A Full Birthday Day at an Island
Want the whole day? The private 6-hour Isla Farallón trip includes swimming and snorkeling in clear water (two snorkel sets on board), music and a barbecue on board, for up to 10 guests. Choose the Hatteras 40 “Makaira” (US$1,600) or the Stamas 39 “Majo V” (US$1,400).
Kids’ Birthday: Family Fishing, 4 Hours
For children and teens, nothing beats catching their first fish. The 4-hour family fishing trip stays close to the coast and targets small and medium-size species, with the crew guiding everyone the whole time. Along the way you may see dolphins and other marine life. Fishing license, rods and tackle are included, and the crew cleans and fillets your catch. US$900 on the Stamas 39, up to 8 guests.
Birthday in August or September? Go Whale Watching
Every year humpback whales visit Panama’s Pacific coast in August and September. A private 4-hour whale-watching trip makes a birthday nobody forgets: Hatteras 40 US$1,200 or Stamas 39 US$900, up to 9 guests.
How to Get to Vista Mar Marina
- Coming from Coronado or Gorgona: a short drive west on the Pan-American Highway.
- Coming from Río Hato, Playa Blanca or Buenaventura: a short drive east. Round-trip transportation from Buenaventura or Río Hato: US$100.
- Coming from Panama City: about an hour and a half west by road. Round-trip transportation can be added for US$300.
